A Double-Double And A Confession, Please.

Today I went through a Timmy's drive-thru and with my order I asked for 3 timbits for my daughter.  When I pulled up to the window to pay and to get my coffee and timbits, the cashier leaned out the window and announced to me with a big smile on her face:

"I ate a whole box of 20 timbits all by myself in one sitting yesterday".

I felt like I could have heard crickets chirping in that moment if I had listened hard enough.  I had no idea what to say to that!  Turns out, I didn't need to worry about that for too long... she then told me that she'd been having a down day yesterday, that she had been crying all day, and she just buried her sorrows in that 20-pack and never looked back.  I still didn't know quite what to say, so I smiled and said something about a good cry never being complete without timbits and went on my way.

I did feel sorry for this woman, and I hoped that the timbits brought her some sort of sugary inner peace.  Her drive-thru true confessions session with me got me thinking about something, though.  How many of us would be willing to confess to someone else an embarrassing binge fest devoid of self restraint?

I will step up to the challenge and say that I ate the entire bag of oreos that my sister brought me at the hospital when I had just delivered my daughter.  AND I ate them all in the amount of time it took me to read the collection of celebrity gossip magazines that accompanied them.  AND I am 90% they were double-stuffed oreos.  I say this with only a bit of guilt because I knew at the time that I was being ridiculous, but I had also just created a human being, so I kind of thought I deserved them.  :-)

So... can anyone out there top a box of 20 timbits or a bag of oreos?  No judging... I promise!
